I was always told as a kid that I was a brave little kid, and it was all because I saved a kitten from a tree. As I grew up, I believed I was the best hero in this small town. Everyone always thanked me for the wonderful things I did. As I got older, that bravery started to fade. I became more aware of the world and how bad it truly is. I realized that real crimes were worse than the ones we were taught in children’s books. I was too scared and cowardly to fight all the bad in the world. I was too worried about what people would think. I was too worried about myself to care about others. People started to notice, and I got hate for being too cowardly. Nothing I would do could change their minds; they couldn’t change my mind. Nothing I did was good enough, even though I tried. Instead of fighting the bad, I would be the bad. Sydney B.
My name is TIMIED. I save everyone I say quietly to myself, “one way or another.” I run away first, while yelling and screaming: “RUN! THERE IS DANGER BEHIND ME!” Normally everyone follows, so we all escape together. They normally start to run; if not, I forget them and move on. Jake B.
I rushed into the villain's lair, my gorgeous hot pink cape blowing in the wind. My whole outfit was fantabulous, all color- coordinated with my cape. And best of all, my long blonde hair was in perfect curls. I stepped into the main entrance and realized that the villain had thrown the civilian into a pool of water...all tied up. At first, my adrenaline told me to jump in and save them, but then I realized, I could never jump in and ruin my curls. Charlotte C.
I look down the big building I’m at the top of. I activate my web powers and grapple onto the nearest building. I go to jump to swing, but my legs won't move. I let go of the web and walk down the stairs to the street below. “Ah forget about it.” Brayden G.
I am a super-epic, super-amazing, super-heart, except for one tiny detail… I'm afraid of Sid!!!!!!!! How can a super-epic super-hero be afraid of Sid!?!?!?!? This is unheard of!!!!! I better get my act together y’all……………………..!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ari M.
I’m scared my powers are going to be discovered, and the FBI is going to burst down my door and be, “FBI OPEN UP!!!” Then they will nuke my house, so I’m hiding in my nuclear missile silo waiting to be nuked on. Samantha M.
