- I’ve gotten thrown on this dusty shelf.
- My new friend is this blue binder.
- This random old dude walks up to me to take a photo.
- Yeah, don’t throw me away. Just leave me here to get moldy.
- He walks away, laughing at his phone.
- I sit here still, offended by the man.
by Sydney B - The stench gets stronger, and I block my nose. Why is it so fermented? Curious, I follow the smell to the Target notebook aisle. I find a reflection in the coffee and turn around. A man stands behind me unable to move. I wonder how long he has been standing there watching the coffee on the shelf. Suddenly, I realize that I am now standing in place unable to move, watching that same coffee. I look down and realize why we were unable to move: the coffee has spilt, and it’s tar? by Abby N
- Mmmm mmm mmmm- this drink is scrumdiddliyumtious. Such a pity that Bethany the college student has deserted me. She paid 6 bucks for a small beverage. Majoring in engineering has taught her nothing. It even looks like she’s only taken two sips of me. by Charlotte C
- I get dumped into the cup like water splashing into a glass before being drunk. I get passed to and sit in the car for I don’t-know-how-long, but the big thing next to me gets in and out of the big mobile. This big thing put me in all those days ago. Then one day, I get moved onto a shelf and sit there until another big thing takes a picture of me, and I sit there until I get thrown away. Samantha M
- Why do I feel like this? I'm not cold anymore. I don’t feel well. I need to be cold. How long have I been here? I need to be cold again. I need to be cold. by Ari M
- I am 23 dollars, but no one wants me. I’m 23 dollars, and that's what haunts me. I am 23 dollars sitting right here; no one wants me...I shed a tear. by Jake B
- I have been abandoned like I have been from the start of my life cycle. Separated from my friends family and others. We were told that our destiny would be to become a tasty drink. I got drunk out of two times and stored onto a shelf. I will never be drunk out of again. by Brayden G
