Approaching the star other wise known as the sun, the thermal shield around my ship was burning up. The smell of burning and gasoline filled the air. I placed my helmet onto the ring around my collar. Click, the glass dome was know surrounding my head. I stared at the photo I taped to the side. "Juliette my first born, I promised I'd go to the sun. And now I will be with you soon, my love. In my last moments, I stared into her blue eyes before the darkness consumed me. - Charlotte C.
I could feel the intense burning all around me as I tried to stay conscious. I kept my focus on the feeling so that I would not fall asleep. It burned so bad. How could anyone bear this! I tried and tried, but alas, I fell asleep and met my doom, never to awaken again. - Ari M.

I landed on the sun in my sun-proof suit with my friend Tierney. We got out of the rocket soaked in sweat. Tierney got sun-proof metal, and I got the vacuum seal door. We constructed it and went inside to install the air conditioner. - Samantha M.
"It's so hot! I have run out of sunscreen! Now I look like a tomato! Wait...how am I surviving this?” I said as I turned to bone. -Brayden G.
I would rather be burning right now than be stuck here on this hot, molten star. The aliens, who call themselves Sunyuns, have kidnapped me and are holding me hostage in a cage with hot metal beams. I’m crew, and I can’t get back to our ship even if we got out because our ship is currently being melted. - Sydney B.
