Was my cat talking to me? I have no idea, but it sounded like I heard a little, “Hello” even though I'm home alone. Could it be my cat? Is this my last day? In a split second I hear a loud bang, and I fall to the ground with a terrible pain in my chest.

Was my cat talking to me? This morning I wake up and my cat is sitting on my pillow yelling, "I want my food!" I shake my head and blink a couple of times. When I open my eyes, I just see my cat sleeping at my feet. I think to myself out loud, “Oh, that’s strange.” My cat turns to face me, and he says, “What's strange?” I leap out of bed and run away from my cat. My cat also jumps up and starts running on two legs after me, telling me to “Stop running" and "Have a talk.’’ I shout back, “Stay away from me, you evil little beast.”

Was my cat talking to me? I swear I heard a whisper in my ear as I woke up. A quiet, “I want food.” My eyes fluttered open to see my black cat with big green eyes. Her little fangs flashed in the sunlight, and she smiled. I made a weird face and hopped out of bed. Behind me I heard my cat say, “There’s a mouse in the kitchen.” I rushed down the stairs, almost tripping over my own feet, and I witnessed a small, furry mouse scurrying across the floor. I knew the new house needed some fixing, but I didn’t think it would need this much working on. My cat crawled behind me and pounced on the tiny rodent. Thank goodness for my talking cat.
